The Harter Site
After our mother's recent death, and a treasure trove of photographs from Linda (Rath) Harter and Mary Kay Harter, I decided it was time to put together a Web site so that the extended family could view and ponder the last 140 years or so of our ancestory. This is hopefully a joint effort, so please let me know what you think, and what you need, and if there are any images, stories, or documents that you can contribute.
This will be a work in progress for a long time - I know that scanning the photographs will take some time by itself.
I'm starting with Mom's life and her immediate ancestors, since this is freshest in our minds. Hopefully much more to follow
As I scan more photos, I will be storing them in another site - photos.hartersite.com. I'll be adding selected photos to this site so we can tell some family stories with them.
